Blessed are the Balanced

The Kingdom of God is vast, filled with wonderful insights that God has kept for us, things angels strain to look into. It appears they are unable to see the privileges that God has prepared for us:

1 Peter 1:12 (MSG) "All they were told was that they were serving you, you who by orders from heaven have now heard for yourselves—through the Holy Spirit—the Message of those prophecies fulfilled. Do you realize how fortunate you are? Angels would have given anything to be in on this!"

While we gorge on all the delicacies prepared for us by God, keeping a healthy balance is important. There's a need to prioritize understanding God's unconditional love as portrayed in the atonement, having meaningful relationships, and the responsibilities of living in a modern world.

That's a lot, and it can be quite easy to become overwhelmed or get things out of balance. We'll need the Holy Spirit to guide us. Only with His help can we see what needs to be done at every point of our walk with God. One thing is certain, when we get our unique blend quite right, it's a winning formula. The right measure will educate us, and we actually cease from doing and move into done. What God has done, is well done.
