Christian Philosophy

Regardless of how you're meant to relay the message, there's a need to understand Christian philosophy. It's a significant hurdle to cross and will make relaying God's message easier and easier. What's a Philosophy? It's a way of thinking, the lens through which both information and reality are processed. Having a Christian philosophy is critical to relaying God's message.

When we have gotten a clear picture of the eternal and the fact that this world is not all, we realize that the stakes are higher than Sunday brunches. God means business. He's consistently and actively working to get the message of his Son out, the entire message.

After this realization and decision are made, we'll need a philosophy. Why? For starters, because knowledge is always fragmentary. What does that mean? Let's assume you see your neighbors arguing. That's normal, couples argue. A few days later, you observe what appears to be an affair, let's assume by the husband. It's going to create a lot of mixed emotions. You'll judge and probably take sides. There'll be an inclination to speak to someone about it. That's where having a philosophy counts.

The right philosophy will align with the Scriptures. First, probably setting a boundary regarding what appears to be going on. Rather than speak to anyone about it, Bible thinking would commit the issue in the hands of God. Second, upon encountering them in the neighborhood, the words of Christ instruct not to judge so we don't get judged either. Playing it cool and trusting God to resolve the family issues. That's what a philosophy looks like. It's a way of thinking, and in this case, contrary to everything we learn in the world's system. Most times, the exact opposite.

When we choose to become messengers of God's servant, we'll need a philosophy based on the Word of God. It'll make the work easier and create the least resistance. That's because what we are doing for God, we are also doing through God's ways.
