Empty

Welcome to the blog and thanks for joining. Today we are looking at the word, #Empty. What does that mean empty?

For this purposes, I'm talking about empty to be lacking in meaning and values. Our Couple from yesterday's blog post were empty. They figured to fill that emptiness with Alcohol. Addictions usually point to a void somewhere. Unfortunately, they had fallen into an extreme. Sometimes we fall into other kinds of extremes like when we say no alcohol, no recreation, no nothing at all.

Extremes reflect poor choices, and probably also poorer information. What's more important is that Jesus rescued them. Through the Prayer, they called, and He answered. Their home was not lost, and the Marriage did not break up.

Whatever is empty should be filled. Nothing in our lives is meant to remain empty or void, in reality nothing can be in a state of vacuum. Before we come to know Christ it is not uncommon for our lives to be void of meaning and purpose. But little by little as He begins to restore us, we experience Renewal, we find meaning, become confident and bold. That's what a progressive relationship with the Lord looks like.

From empty, we are filled.
