It's not about them

It's not about them. It's about God?

Who are they? Them that twist the message and Gospel of Jesus Christ. Let's talk about them.

Jesus said a lot of things, and He didn't necessarily give us any details on how to implement, just clear-cut instructions. Reflecting freedom and the Liberty of the Spirit.

We find this liberty in some churches observing this and other churches observing that. And that's cool. It's the whole essence of Grace.

I'm talking about churches that are doing what's obviously wrong and even seeming to get away with it. Financial crimes, sexual assault, extortion, outright intimidation. About a month ago from this writing, a Rector (senior priest) was arrested for selling meth out of his local parish.

Upon simple consideration, you'll realize that they have lost the concept of the eternal. That's how you end up selling meth in Church, probably to parishioners. The good news is, there's an answer.

You're the answer. You've understood Repentance and Faith and offered yourself to God for His purposes (it's a basic thing). Because you're now a living sacrifice, guess what, you now qualify for the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, and He will. Walking with a renewed mind, prosperity follows because your soul now prospers. All is well in the world, and then you read about them.

Obviously, getting the Gospel wrong and leading others with them (our Rector friend probably had Church member accomplices). There's no aspect of the Gospel that justifies crime in the modern sense today. So what can you do?

You can let your light shine so that men may see your good works and glorify our Father in Heaven. That's what this blog is all about. Finding our purposes, embracing them, and then turning around to become salt and light to others. It's the life worth living.

You were made to last forever. Don't get stuck in the frivolities of this life on Earth. You're meant to become a Blessing, that's the whole essence of maturity.

I hope you'll stick around.

Good word. The Gospel does not justify crime, but justifies us in order to love and serve our neighbors.
