Let's talk about the sinful

TITUS 1:15 (NIV) "To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted."

I want to recount an experience I had not too long ago. I once attended a conference held by a Bible based church that had invited a counselor to teach on sexuality. It was a non-denominational assembly. Coming from a pentecostal background, I listened carefully, using all parameters of righteousness that the Holy Spirit had taught us from the Scriptures (I no longer think this way having understood God's Grace).

After a brief session of giving some basic information about sex and sexuality, he divided the meeting into two camps. The camps spoke to women about certain things and men about other things. With the men, he explained to us the true nature of sexuality especially has it has to do with our inner image, and why pornography was a destroyer especially for the young and single. Everything he said was scientifically accurate and backed up with relevant scriptures.

When our session ended, it was time for the q&a with both sexes. Things got interesting. Role play (amongst couples) was okay. Oral experiences were acceptable. Anal experiences were discussable between couples in the sacredness of their marriage, and pornography could stay in their garden if seen together. Don't nail me to a cross, I'm not in any way endorsing everything that I heard. We are not to be followers of any man except of the Lord Jesus Christ. The conference was filled with profit.

There's a lot here to consider and deliberate. What freedoms has God rightly given to us based on our new nature in Christ, that we know nothing about, or allow fear to devour. Rather than carry out an analysis of what is and what is not considered sinful, I'll end thoughts on sin with this:
