People don't know

The greatest privilege on earth is to know God, even more specifically, to be known of God, personally as an individual. We can have a personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, and have our light turn into darkness.

You are the light of the world. What does that mean? How are we to respond to this statement from the Savior, Jesus Christ?

Ignorance can be so painful and quite expensive. When information has not been communicated, the knowledge of a principle or precept is irrelevant, although it has always existed.

Today, there are over 100 everyday medicines derived from plants in use in many countries of the world. Those plants always had those features, used at any point in time they would cure, but people didn't know. Until discovered or understood better, the benefit remained in darkness.

Being separated to the Gospel at a very young age, upon personal commitment, I became extremely zealous, but it was without adequate knowledge. Specifically without the knowledge of God's grace and what has already been done.

Through God's grace and mercy, light came into my life, I learned and understood concepts like God's unconditional love, the necessity of repentance before faith, complete forgiveness of sin and sins. The truly merciful nature of the Gospel of God's grace, light came, and I've never been the same.

You're the light of this world, actually, you're a city, having many things to give to this world, in Christ Jesus.
