Repentance: Conscience Restored

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 1Timothy 4:2

Thanks for being here Today. We are still looking at Repentance. What is Repentance and why is it important in our walk with God.

Today we live in a very intelligent world, and enjoy the benefits of this intelligence. Reason is filled with benefits and many of them are actually automated. Ideas being non rivalrous is a sweet fruit of reason in our world.

Reason, as amazing as it is, was never intended to work alone. Two great things that walk with Reason are conscience and community. Our consciences are a Blessing from God, and another element with sweet fruit.

When we don't pay attention to our conscience, they become seared, and we inevitably end up in a direction opposite from the intention of God. That's what Today's Scripture verse is teaching us.
