Repentance: In Him

"Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God" Hebrews 6:1

Thanks for being here Today. We are still looking to understand Repentance. In the verse above the Bible calls Repentance an act that leads to death. It means an act not done in Christ Jesus.

When we act without relying on the Lord, we reject the life that God made him to be for us. All activity along that line always lead to death, irrespective of the activity itself. There is no sin between you and God.

This is what the Scriptures refer to as "Abiding in Him". Learning how to abide in Christ takes time, yet it is the path to His Blessing.
