Repentance: The End of Illusion

When the ark of the LORD’s covenant came into the camp, all Israel raised such a great shout that the ground shook.
1 Samuel 4:5
Thanks for being here Today. It seems like Repentance is such an unnecessary doctrine of the Faith, but that is because we have not yet understood is value. If we are handed an equipment, without clear instructions we are limited regarding its purpose.
That's the way it is with true and Biblical Repentance, once we see it's value in our lives, our illusion breaks. From that point of 'break', God becomes an active figure in our lives.
That's the emphasis of Today's Scripture. Up until the day this Scripture was referring to, the Nation of Israel taught that the ark was a symbol of God, and a tool for Victory. With that kind of thinking, they 'took' the ark to war. But man cannot take the God anywhere. Subsequently the ark found its way back to its original location.
