Repentance: Zealous & Wrong

He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” - Acts 9:4-6

Thanks for being here Today, we are still looking into Repentance, the foundation necessary for Faith. Oftentimes we come across people who are passionate for God, but this passion stems from self effort. They are genuinely wrong, but with no one to instruct, ignorance has become passion.

This is the case in Today's Scripture with the Apostle Paul. We tend to blame him for persecuting Christians, the reality is, he believed it to be the right thing to do, defending his Faith.

That's what it looks like when we don't Repent or understand what Repentance is. We seem to be passionate and vigorous, serving the Lord, but, we are heading in the wrong direction.
