There's no second you. So far, we know that many things make individuals unique. Our fingerprints are unique, our eyes are unique, we have unique voices, and our DNA is unique. I'm personally convinced there's more yet to be discovered. We probably have unique perceptions, thinking patterns, and learning capacities. The glory of God is heavy in every person on earth.
This uniqueness means every person has an insight into an aspect of God that nobody has ever understood. That's why your story is important. Sharing that story doesn't have to be limited to any one medium. Every time we allow God to work through us, we make room for His Glory to be manifested through our lives, we become the message, and God has something to say through us. Here's how the Scriptures put it:
2 Corinthians 3:2-3 (MSG) "You yourselves are all the endorsement we need. Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you. Christ himself wrote it not with ink but with God's living Spirit; not chiseled into stone, but carved into human lives—and we publish it."
You are the message. Why don't we share our personal experiences in Christ more often. There are three main roadblocks to God's message in our lives. First, we get confused, not being clearly instructed on how to go about it. Second, we experience doubt, will the message be relevant to our generation. Finally, some people get ordained, not exactly sure how to carry out their message as lay people.
As we round up this devotional, thanks for being with me through 40 days, we will look into these and how the obstacles can be easily overcome. Once the obstacles have been overcome, we easily become salt and light in this world. It's worth taking the time to understand.
