The Citizens

In Ukraine's pre-war years, there's a great testimony of an educator who had written a curriculum for their public education system. According to her testimony, she had been divinely inspired by a system she discovered from reading the Bible and the sermons of her pastor. That's the light of the Kingdom of God. Here's how the Scriptures put it:

2 COR 4:6 (NIV) "For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ."

She saw darkness in her country's educational system, being a yielded vessel, she allowed God to make her a blessing. There's more to this testimony, and it'll help us all to serve God better.

First, she received salvation:

JOHN 3:16 (BSB) "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Then, over time, she grew in her faith in God. More specifically, her belief system developed. She was no longer a child (driven through and fro by every wind of doctrine), but rather, she became a son. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons (in this case, daughters) of God.

Finally, she worked with the facts of her reality, being adequately taught by her leader. Her belief system was mature enough to acknowledge the Ukrainian educational system, see a need in it, and develop a curriculum that blessed her country's educational system. That's how this prophecy was fulfilled in her life:

ISA 60:1(BSB) "Arisen, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you."

I'm not asking you to jump into the next school district close to you. The unfolding of similar Scriptures will be different for each of us, but having in it the spirit of the story. But I'm saying that there's something in you, from heaven, it came with the salvation package. Unwrap it, and let us glorify God in your life.
