The Man who can fight 20 women, but not 22

Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed, for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened. - Mark 6:51-52

While Jesus was here on Earth, he was constantly trying to change the hearts of His followers. It was a difficult task, and it probably never occurred until after his resurrection, even then there were doubts, as it is Today.

In the above passage, The Lord had just calmed the storm, the Bible says they were "completely amazed" that Jesus could do such a thing. If a man can multiply a boys lunch to feed thousands of people, maybe he can handle a storm.

The Disciples struggled with this reality, and so do we. We struggle because of our pre-conceived notions about how things are meant to be. When we don't address them, we become troubled oftentimes with solutions in our midst.

One of those preconceived notions is our considerations about women (both sexes), Because some women are naturally weak, we end up relegating all women as weak, and this is not the case. Consequently, sometimes women can do certain things better, but our thinking never reaches that point.

For the rest of this week, we will be looking at the Apostle Peter, his preconceived notions and struggles, how those thoughts crumbled, and Jesus became Lord over His Life.

His complete change is revealed in the Book of Peter. Please join us, as we look at Repentance and Faith.
