Tradition leads to Philosophy

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. (Colossians 2:8)

Thanks for being here Today. We are looking this week at what Christianity is not. Christianity is not a Philosophy, but sometimes without knowing it we end up in this way.

How does this happen?

The Church of Jesus Christ is a Supernatural organization, it means it is something Created by God's initiative, and sustained by the same.

This sustainement is experienced through the Holy Spirit, revealing the will of God, through the Scriptures. Through this the Church is nurtured, and believers are fed.

When this process is not followed, human tradition seeps in, void of the Supernatural element, the Traditional church becomes philosophical.

This Philosophy is not the living offering, which is Christ.
